Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 11, 2026
PlanFishCatch LLC (“PlanFishCatch,” “we,” “us”) wants the Service to be usable by as many anglers as possible, including people who use assistive technologies. We are working to make PlanFishCatch accessible and to improve it over time.
Our target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities. This is a target we work toward, not yet a claim of full conformance.
What we have done
- A semantic, theme-token color system designed for sufficient text contrast;
- Visible keyboard focus indicators and keyboard-operable controls;
- Respect for the operating-system “reduce motion” preference;
- Form fields with associated labels and accessible error messaging;
- Plain-language safety disclaimers surfaced where decisions are made.
Known limitations
We want to be honest about where we fall short. Some experiences are inherently visual and remain difficult to convey through assistive technology — in particular the interactive map and certain data visualizations (charts, the species-score hex layer, current and field overlays). Where a map-based feature is hard to use non-visually, we aim to provide the same underlying information in an accessible form (for example, the textual forecast, condition readouts, and lists). We are actively improving these areas.
Compatibility
The Service is designed to work with current versions of major browsers and their built-in and common assistive technologies. Accessibility depends in part on the technologies you use; if a particular combination is not working for you, please tell us.
Feedback & getting help
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or need information from the Service provided in a different format, contact support@planfishcatch.com and describe the problem, the page or feature, and the assistive technology you were using. We take this feedback seriously and will try to respond promptly and provide the information or function you need through an alternative means where feasible.
Ongoing effort
Accessibility is an ongoing commitment. We review new features for accessibility as we build them and revisit existing ones as we learn. We will update this statement as our conformance and known limitations change.
